Newton Family | Tipsoo Lake Family Photographer

Meet the Newton family. I’ve known them for several years and always get excited when they reach out to get updated family photos. They asked if we could take them at Tipsoo Lake located on Chinook Pass. I’ve wanted to visit and do a photo session there for several years now and was so happy when they mentioned that location. There is a particular spot that I call the “money shot” where you get breathtaking views of the cascading mountains behind you and all the wildflowers. It’s a very popular location in the summertime, and I can see why; it’s gorgeous. It took us about 2 hours to get to the top, and the views did not disappoint. To my surprise, the “money shot” was right off the road, and you had to be careful for traffic coming in and out, but that’s okay because the vehicles usually go really slow and are used to people being around everywhere. I was also happy to see some of my fellow photographer friends up there. The Newton family is the sweetest and most beautiful family you’ll meet. You can see that come through in their photos. I hope that I get another opportunity to get back up there and do another session in the near future. If you are up for an adventure, please reach out; you will not regret it.
