Gunner | Bonney Lake Pet Photographer

Meet Gunner. A friend of mine asked if I could take some photos of their adopted grandma’s service dog. Gunner wasn’t doing well and they knew having to say goodbye to him was going to be soon. I hopped in the car and drove to the beautiful Tehaleh area to meet up with them. Gunner was so sweet and very photogenic. As you can see, he looked at the camera several times. I loved the interaction between him and his sweet owner.

This session was emotional and brought me back to when my family had to make the hard decision to say goodbye to our sweet Yorkie of 14 years, Bella, three years ago. To this day it still brings me to tears and I miss her dearly. It is always an honor to take photos of your beautiful pets, because they truly are more than just pets, they are family.

Gunner, I could tell the moment I met you that you were a sweet soul. You loved unconditionally and you did your job so well. I prayed for you and your lovely owner. I know you are no longer in pain and that brings me comfort, but I also know there is a huge void without you here. I know you are watching over your lady up in heaven. Bless you!
